It is inevitable: young parents, torturing their child, "Here, try a lemon..mmmmmm..." It usually is a disappointment -- I think babies' taste buds aren't as sensitive to sour as adults--kids too. They love sour candy and it makes me sick to think about it now. Give that boy a pickle!!!
And you so beat me to saying, "But I'm sure he understands 'Don't put it in your eye, Honey'."
Ha! Did you happen to be cooking with lemons, or were you just curious as to what he would do? And more importantly, you have lemons in your house!? We don't have lemons at ours.
He didn't even pucker up once.
