Big ol' baby and a penguin

My mom and me at my shower. This was with 5 weeks to go!

My favorite stuffed animal. Aunt Rachel made it for me.

I know where--I just don't know when...

Last night, my folks took me on a tour of the hospital where I'll be born. It's really nice. We'll have our own big room with lots of seats for all my visitors. Be sure to let my mom and dad know if you want to visit when I'm born so they know to put you on something they call a phone tree. I don't know what that is, but then again, I am a fetus.

There were all these other babies at the hospital. Man, were they pissed. They were all red and screaming. I don't know what was up with them. I think it's pretty cool hanging out all upside-down in my own room--it's all toasty in here-- but I'm not going to freak out like those other babies when it's time to leave. Whatever, I guess I'll find out soon enough.

The Name Game

Hi, everybody. Poki here.
So, if you haven't noticed by now, I don't exactly have a name. I mean, everyone calls me Pokolodi or Poki, but that's not going to be my real name. The truth is, my parents can't decide what to name me--but some people have offered suggestions. My cousin Sam thinks my name is Luke Skywalker. A few people said my name should be Cash, because my mom listens to alot of Johnny Cash. Granny likes simple names like Mark and Bill. What do you guys think? If you have an idea for a name, leave me a comment.

Meet Poki. He is so tech-savvy.

Hi. I'm Pokolodi-- Poki for short. I'm a fetus, but I am still smart enough to have a blog. I figure it's a good way to keep in touch with my grandparents and other people who already like me, even though I haven't even been born yet.

I'm sort of late in creating this blog, so let me bring you up to speed. Here are some pictures of my gestational journey thus far.

My first picture. Not an embryo, not yet a fetus...

My second picture. This was when my parents found out that ol' Poki's a boy (see middle left picture).

Me and my mom looking at a sunset in Mexico.

My mom and me in April.

My mom and me with 9 weeks to go.

Mom, Dad and me on Mother's Day. The doctors say I could be born any day now...

That's all for now. Check back in soon!
