They make door pull proofers - for kids. Or, you could just make your whole apartment a kid zone...
Yup...you're screwed. They do make baby proofing doorknob covers - but in addition to being kidproof, I find them to be adult proof too.
Oh...and think of the damage Poki could do in that hallway - that's a lot of books! (I'm sure, of course, you've thought about the damage...hence the whole "screwed" thing!) Scarlett hasn't shown any interest in opening doors (thank God...can we say basement stairs)...she just shuts them. Ummm...maybe we shouldn't hang out for awhile (j/k).
