Yes, that's right. Scarlett's mom, Lauren, has decided our relationship is worthy of a celebrity couple nickname. So now you have it: Scarson.
Yesterday afternoon, after we returned from our awesome trip to Boston, we met up with Scarlett and her folks for a little playground fun and an outdoor dinner and dessert at Dairy Queen.
We enjoyed our ice cream equally, but the difference in our table manners is...well...let's just say "different." I mean, just look at our faces. Scarlett doesn't have a drop on her!
To put this difference into greater perspective, here are three pictures of Scarlett taken right in a row while she ate her ice cream cone.
And here are three pictures of me, taken right after those of Scarlett.
However, one thing Scarson has in common is the intensity of our sugar high. That race was neck and neck. As evidence, please see Exhibit A--a video in which we engage in the greatest of historical debates: Good and evil, gender differences, and to whom the DQ table belongs--oh yeah--and doggies. And all set to a very dance-able beat.

Well, I have to admit that Carson is more my speed but Scarlett sure is cute...
Well...you didn't show Joe on the side of Scarlett with 18 baby wipes and napkins immediately erasing any spec of ice cream she got on her.
Why haven't we been using "Scarson" for the past year?! What were we thinking!?
We had so much fun with you guys at Dairy Queen. I love that it's getting warm enough for outdoor ice cream!
