This is why I'm not allowed to watch TV and why my parents don't turn it on until after I've gone to bed:
My mom is afraid I will turn into Jimmy Jet from the Shel Silverstein poem.
Maybe someday when I am older and I know not to try to climb inside the TV...then maybe I can watch.

We solved that problem by never turning the TV off. Scarlett lost interest at about 4 months. (I'm going to pretend that it's an ingenious solution more than the fact that we watch entirely too much television).
