So a few days ago, my mom was feeding me lunch when she heard a scratching sound coming from the bathroom. She thought it was Max doing something naughty, as usual. She went into the bathroom and, sure enough, Max was in there--but he was just staring at the ceiling. The scratching sound was coming from the ceiling! There was a critter up there! Mom called the landlord (who lives upstairs) and he said he thought it was a squirrel that he heard above his kitchen. Well, Mom has only heard it once since then. Sigh...here comes the drama... This morning, Mom woke up and walked into the bathroom and let out a shriek. Guess what she saw? A hole in our ceiling! A hole! The critter scratched a hole in our ceiling in the very place she heard him a few days ago! It's pretty small, so we don't actually think he came into the house...plus, Mom thinks the kitties would be going crazy if there was another critter in here. We're still afraid though. What if he keeps scratching and makes the hole bigger? What if he comes in? What do we do???
